Shake Us Up, Oh God. Shake Us Up…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. This morning as I sit with a dear friend from India who has dedicated her whole life to mission Jesus, I am humbled by her dedication. When she read the Holy Scripture take up your cross and follow Jesus, that’s exactly what she has done. Being a nurse by trade and going to the nations of the world bringing the healing balm of Jesus everywhere her feet lands, makes me hungry to go deeper with him. Her trust in every area of her life, is in Jesus. From finances to where she pillows her head at night reminds me of Corrie Ten Boone. At a global revival meeting I was at, she approached me and said God had told her to talk with me. I was involved with other conversations and was a bit busy. I gave her my card and told her we would connect soon. She approached me once again the next day and said the same. God told me to speak with you, my sister. I once again gave her my card and told her we would talk soon. Sometimes it takes me a bit, but I finally got it. On her third try, I finally excused myself and went to speak to this precious woman of God. Her dedication and prayer life has been such an example.

As her plane landed here in my city, I knew God himself sent her. A spiritual mother to so many intercessors and prayer warriors across this globe, a revivalist herself, she shakes up the hard ground. Today, let’s pray God will break up any hardness of  hearts, any untilled ground so that the king of Glory can fully come in. Let’s Pray:

Father, today we pray for our city, your people. Your Word tells us in Psalm 24 the earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place?  The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god.  They will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob.  Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty— he is the King of glory.

Father, your heart is that none should perish, your heart is our heart, oh God. Shake us up oh God, shake us up. We want the King of Glory in our city. Revive us, oh God. Amen

Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Seek him, trust him and believe him.
