Transparency 101, The Real Life…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I love that I can just be me. I don’t have to be like anyone else and neither do you. We can be comfortable with who God created each of us to be. We don’t have to compare ourselves to anyone else, be like anyone else, but just be real of who we are, before a great and mighty God. I love that our God sees, hears and knows it all.
Last week, I had someone say to me after the loss of my sister, some very tough words. Angel, I was thinking, she said. You are the youngest of your family. Everyone is so much older than you. You will be left all alone. You won’t have any family, we will all be gone she continued to share her thoughts. Little did she know, I fought the issue of abandonment as a result of the death of my mother at a young age. I wish she had never said those words to me, but we know the enemy of our soul doesn’t fight fair. Fear was trying to grip me through the words she was speaking. I had to fight back with God’s Word that says totally opposite of that. I had to forget her thoughts and stick with what my Creator says.
Thank God we are never alone. He will never leave us nor forsake us. We are never alone beautiful people, ever. Our God is so close to us, closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24) Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that we can be who you created us to be. You predestined our lives before the beginning of time. You know and see right where we are. We are never alone, ever.
Your Word tells us in Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. 1 Corinthians 2:5-9 tells us this: so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power. We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”- the things God has prepared for those who love him.
Father, we embrace your Word, your wisdom, and the plans you have for every life according to Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Amen
