Be The Really Great…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I review a quote this morning by G.K. Chesterton. There is a great man who makes every man feel small. But the really great man is the man who makes every man feel great. Isn’t that beautiful? Can you imagine if we practiced this every day? Let’s ask God to develop this deeper in our lives. Let’s ask him to help us forgive the person that has done us wrong, and see the greatness they have. Forgiveness isn’t always easy, but it is attainable with the power of the Holy Spirit. That person is still great.
We have the power to build others up and help them to believe in whom God created them to be. We are all original, designed by God’s handiwork. We all have strengths, and weaknesses, but because of His great love, he changes us from glory to glory. We all can have a bright future with Christ. We are all his favorite, created in his image. We all are great. We can help other’s believe in the greatness he has deposited in them. Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for eyes to see the greatness in all of your people. Thank you for giving us your heart. All the titles the world gives us, all the labels we wear shouldn’t change how we treat people. You tell us all about this in Matthew 25. Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took me in, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you visited me. Then the righteous will answer Him, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and take you in, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you? And the King will reply, truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.
Father, make us great. Let us love people according to your Word. Amen
