Don’t Add Your Two Cents…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I have been blessed to witness some incredible answers to prayer as well as receive interventions from God himself. Recently, I have had the opportunity to pray with some individuals that needed guidance. I am always blessed when I hear back what God had done. I try not to put my own two sense in, but rely on God and God alone.
The more I seek him, the more I want to worship him and it causes me to desire to take everything directly to his throne room. Sometimes we must admit, our two sense is worth just that-two cents.
God knows every detail, he knows the ending before we even begin to ask. If we were all honest this morning before him, we would all be singing this song. Lord, I Need You. Every hour we need him, actually moment by moment. The words to this song say it well. Let’s Pray:
Father, our help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:2) Forgive us God when we put our two sense in and shouldn’t have. You know every detail of every life and you have the plan you created individually. We lift our hearts before you today, and thank you for taking care of all that concerns your people.
Father, we pray 1 Chronicles 4-10 this morning- the prayer of Jabez. Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, ‘Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!’ So God granted him what he requested.
Father, thank you for your faithfulness to mankind. Thank you for the many blessings you have bestowed upon us. Lead us today as we keep our minds and hearts steadfast on you, because we trust you. (Isaiah 26:3) Amen.
