I love this about former President George Bush…….he gets along with people even if they have different views than him…..that is missing so very much in our country!!!! If we cannot get along with each other we are done as a nation. I remember at his dad’s funeral he gave Mrs. Obama candy!!! I have not always agreed with President Bush’s politics, but I like him, I would love to sit down and talk with him over a cup of coffee. Remember Tip O’Neil and President Reagan?, opposite sides, but they worked together, America benefited so much! Now D.C. is just full of hate! D.C. could learn so much from O’Neil and Reagan! Tip O’Neil and Ronald Reagan’s Friendship
Nothing will get done in D.C. until people get along. We used to say, agree to disagree, but compromise and lets get this done for America!
