Show Us Our Heart, Oh God…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I have been reading a book that has been really eye opening. Journal Of The Unknown Prophet, A visitation Of Jesus Christ. I would highly recommend this book.
As we continue to grow in him and he allows us to see more of who he is and challenges us to become more like him, this book really has some keen insights. I never desired to be a person full of religion, full of ways learned by a religious culture, but to be a person that had a true, a pure heart after God. My desire is to hear his voice and respond accordingly. I am sure that is true of you too. In this journey, I have learned by trial and error at times, but as I continue to walk before him, he makes every crooked path straight. Today, let’s open our hearts to him and allow him to lead us this day. Let’s not only open a small part of our heart, let’s open up all of our heart so we can receive the fullness of a great and mighty God. Amen? Let’s Pray:
Father, you said to pray like this, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen
Father, we open our hearts to you. Holy Spirit teach us, guide us, lead us as we journey out our lives. Our hearts desire is more of you. Show us religious traditions that need to be unlearned, that was never you in the first place. Purify, cleanse our hearts today, oh God that we may be perfected in you. Amen
