This morning at FBC in Reserve at 11am we are going deep in ther knowledge of what prayer means. I pray you will attend if you do not have a Church home. I will get a podcast up soon here at FGGAM on what God has shown me.

As the Body of Christ…as a Nation, I really beleive we need to go back to the classroom and learn about prayer. Prayer 101

Oh My! I really beleive many have forgotten how to truly pray and what it means to pray to our Father.

Prayer is not made so that God can find out what we need, because Jesus tells us, “Your Father knows what you need before you ask him” Matthew 6:8. God wants us to pray because prayer expresses our trust in God and is a means whereby our trust in Him can increase.

This morning we will also really study the Lord’s Prayer. What does the Lord’s prayer mean to you?

The Lord’s Prayer may be committed to memory quickly, but it is slowly learned by heart.

I love these this………thank you Dr. Jim Denison for sharing…..

Why Should I Pray?

Jonathan Edwards lived by two resolutions above all others: “Resolution One: I will live for God. Resolution Two: If no one else does, I still will.” And he became America’s greatest theologian and one of the catalysts of the First Great Awakening.

In The Pursuit of God, A. W. Tozer issued this invitation: “Let every man abide in the calling wherein he is called and his work will be as sacred as the work of the ministry. It is not what a man does that determines whether his work is sacred or secular, it is why he does it. The motive is everything. Let a man sanctify the Lord God in his heart and he can thereafter do no common act.”

Will you “sanctify the Lord God” in your heart today?

By the way, would you pray about supporting FGGAM? We would be so very thankful! Donate to FGGAM, God Bless you!
