Light A Candle On Black Friday…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I love to turn the lights on my Christmas Tree as I write in the early mornings. The glowing lights brings a calmness to my home, mind and soul. I love to watch them glisten and as the light reflects on the bulbs that were placed on the tree, Thanksgiving Day.
I meditate on His Word be still and know that I am God. (Psalm 46:10) as I hear the clock ticking in the background. Oh the quietness of the morning! Another scripture comes to mind from the book of Isaiah. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice. (Isaiah 42:3)
Today, let’s help another find that light that has grown dim through life’s circumstances. Let’s encourage and help light the candle within their soul. Let’s light up the day, even if it’s called Black Friday. Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for Jesus. God use us to light up our world. Give us assignments bigger than ourselves. Order our footsteps and put us in the right place and the right time. Show us how to help another’s candle burn brighter today.
Father, fill us full to overflowing with your power. Holy Spirit, comforter and friend lead us today. May we not be too busy on this Black Friday to share from the abundance we have been given. Light up our world today through us, we pray. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Share the light you have within. The world is waiting.
