Search, Examine, Reward…
Good Morning beautiful people, good morning. God tells us we can’t even trust our own heart. The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? The Lord searches the heart and examines the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve. (Jeremiah 17:9-10)
Have you ever wondered what it looks like to have God reward you? I must admit I have. What does that look like? Could it be the favor on your life? Could be that unexpected increase in your income? Could it be that next promotion? Could it be the restoration you have been waiting for?
I have journeyed with God for a while now. I have prayed many times Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 139:23-24) He is faithful to show us what is hidden in our hearts and we must be willing to allow him to examine and renew our mind and walk in his blessings. Amen? Amen Let’s Pray!
Father, thank you for journeying life with us every day. We give you our heart once again today. Your Word tells us Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. (Matthew 5:8)
Father, thank you that you are a rewarder of those that seek you. Your Word tells us to seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to us (Matthew 6:33)
Father, have your way in our lives. Thank you for searching, examing and rewarding. Amen.
