He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:10-13 (NKJV)
Our Creator cares enough about us that He came to be with us. He showed us that our problems are from heart issues. He pointed out that it’s not our actions that will save us but that we need to give Him our hearts. Our hearts need to be transformed.
It is sad, however, that while He was amongst us, He was not recognized. He, Who was there when we were created. He, Who knows who we are. He, Who knows all our pains, our needs, our joys. He, Who has an Unconditional Love for us.
It’s important to see that we can only be Children of God when we Believe in Him and Receive Him as Our Lord and Savior. There is no other way. God does not have grandchildren nor nieces and nephews, just Children. We are granted that privilege as we follow Jesus. This comes from God, not from any works.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10 (NKJV)
How are we doing in following Him? Are we Believing He is God?
Jesus, You have been there with us through all we have been through, to include, us being created. You know who we are, what our needs are, what our struggles are, and even what brings us joy. We will follow You everyday and learn more about You. Thank You for being The One Who Leads us. In Your Name We Pray, Amen
