Be The Best…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Recently, I had someone ask me to forgive them. They didn’t realize the full scope of the situation until years later what the truth really was. It’s easy to add our assumptions, our opinions and our lack of understanding to any situation really. In the end God sees and knows the full truth about it all.
As we embraced, one of my replies was, it’s all ok, just be your best and teach your family about Jesus.
This morning, I go over this meeting in my mind once again. It’s been some hard years, lot’s of misunderstandings, but God will always have the final say in our lives as we put our trust in him. Let’s pray to be the best and teach others about Jesus, amen?
Father, thank you that you journey life with us. You speak to our heart like no other. Father, empower us to be the best and share our faith. Your Word tells us life is like a vapor here today and gone tomorrow. (James 4:14) No one has the assurance of another day.
Father, this morning we join faith around this globe and pray the prayer of St. Francis of Assisi once again. Lord, make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is discord, union; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.
Father, empower us to be the best, do our best and share our faith every day. At the end of it all, may we hear your words, well done thy good and faithful servant. (Matthew 25:21) Amen.
