Thank you Sister Connie Keyohara for this message. I would like to add this, I pray over Sharon every morning before she goes to work. I lay my hands over her and pray for her day and safety and state how much I love her and our family and doggy’s. I pray blessings over her and our family. I thank the good Lord for everything! Thank you so very much Connie, this is such a vital message!

Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.

1 Peter 3:7

I want to hit the floor running with this one, because it is a mandate from the Lord, I believe it is very important, especially in this day-and-age.

God gives special instructions to husbands on how they should treat their wives and if you do not act right, your prayers will go unanswered! That should scare you.

The role of the husband in the Bible starts with their leadership. Scripture makes it very clear that a husband must be the leader of his home and have healthy control of his life.

Adam didn’t lead or guide Eve… we know how that ended.

When husbands refuse to honor their wives their prayers will be hindered. God will not receive those prayers in full or the husband will find it difficult to pray.

Let’s go here????????Any husband who is abusive, belittles, is disrespectful, hateful, stingy, gives the silent treatment, is adulterous or screams and yells at his wife is eluding the will of God.

You’re in direct disobedience to Christ. And he won’t tolerate that.

Husbands absolutely do not stand in the place of Christ. Wives go directly to Christ in prayer. He is above all.

If a husband’s going to act a fool, he will eventually find himself single. This is a mere consequence to your sin.

A husband must always honor and respect his wife, both publicly and privately, he should protect her dignity.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her.

Ephesians 5:25

“The love of Christ for His Church is such that He counts Himself incomplete without her (Ephesians 1:23), and raises her to be one with Himself; that He bears with her weakness and frailty; that He draws her on by the cords of love; and that He gives up Himself for her.” -Ellicotts Commentary

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Proverbs 31:10

My prayer for you today, is that you’d honor what God has given you.

Many Blessings,

Connie Keyohara
