Absolutely nothing about Jesus was what people expected of the Messiah. How could a young man from a poor & humble family, speak on God’s Word with such wisdom & authority? From those who thought they knew the Scriptures, to the common everyday people, nobody understood how amazing & special Jesus was…until it was too late! Thanks in part to them, we know SO much more about our Savior & the promises of Scripture today. Still, the world underestimates & misunderstands Jesus. We can’t afford to make the same mistakes between now & the next time He comes. Study & Pray. Spread the Good News that we all need to be ready for our Lord to return any day! |
