Merry Christmas to you and yours Dear Sister Connie Keyohara!!! Thank you for always blessing us!!! Much love in Jesus to you all! Thank you for this wonderful message!
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace,”
Isaiah 9:6
Jesus was God in the flesh, perfect and holy, and died on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day. He’s the reason for the Christmas season.
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2
So, Why did God send His only son to the world?
Christ was sent to us and became a very important part of history, to bring truth, love, hope and salvation to all who believe. Without Him we’d be destined to hell.
Without the death and resurrection of Christ, salvation is impossible. Without His birth, it’s also impossible. His birth was the most important event we’d ever know.
We certainly want to enjoy our time with family, friends, good food and sharing gifts, but we need to remember what Christmas is all about.
Often times he is overlooked and it’s actually his party.
This Christmas, let’s make it about him! Celebrating his birth and everything associated with that.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
If Jesus had never come to the earth, we would all be condemned because “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” We needed him.
Romans 3:23.
God has given us tons of gifts as well as the gift of Christ. Absolutely nothing is required of us to earn these gifts.
We only need to accept the gifts that God has given us. It should bring us peace and joy to know that we did not have to earn these gifts. And they’re wrapped in love.
I pray that you have a wonderful and blessed holiday season.
Merry Christmas from my family, to yours. ????
