What Message Does This Send? NM Teen Gets 30 Days For 2nd-Degree Murder

I had a very hard time typing this story………I weep for all people……I love all people……every life is valued by our Creator God.

When I saw this on the front page of the Albuquerque Journal on Monday, I could not beleive what I was reading? TEEN GETS 30 DAYS FOR 2nd-DEGREE MURDER…I had to read that headline several times, I could not put the paper down. Right now I am having trouble even typing this report to you. Who wants to report news like this?

But what happened here? I do not know all the circumstances. My heart went to the victims family and also to the young man’s family who killed this other man. Families changed forever, torn apart by violence. More lives lost here in Albuquerque, because of all this evil.

What message does this 30 Day Sentence send? Days later I am still having a hard time digesting this….I have gone to the Lord on this several times…….Are we saying that a life taken by murder equals 30 days in jail?

Of course our state aborts babies all the time.

I am heart sick.

New Mexico Teen Gets 30 Days for 2nd-Degree Murder

We are messed up on the sanctity of life, we think we are above God. We, meaning our society. Not a good thing. We will continue to carry out the Great Commission here at FGGAM, shining the light of Jesus Christ to one person at a time.

I am sick to my stomach……..my heart and soul hurt.

Here is the latest on New Mexico violence on Christmas Day:

We are in constant prayer for all the families hit by these tragedies………

I am heart sick…….While many of us were celebrating the birth of Jesus and enjoying our families, evil was at work in Rio Rancho and ABQ:

ABQ JOURNAL UPDATE FRIDAY MORNING

UPDATE: Rio Rancho Murder-Suicide

My heart sank when I saw this report this report at 5:17am this morning…..so very tragic….families torn apart forever…..let us be in prayer and mourning Christmas Tragedy in Rio Rancho

Albuquerque Police were also very busy Christmas Day, Satan does not take a day off……Christmas Violence in ABQ

We are so very thankful for our Law Enforcement Officers, EMT’s and Fire and Rescue who protect and serve us around the clock. Think of their work on Christmas Day….all the evil they saw….and being away from their families. Our heroes need our love, thanks and prayers!

This Preaches the love of Jesus, From Angel Murchison:

A Favorite Christmas Prayer

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. This is one of my favorite Christmas prayers I penned from years ago. Let’s pray it once again today.

Oh, that love would abound in the hearts of people. That no child would be forgotten. That no person would go hungry. That hearts would heal from the pain of brokenness. That kindness would be sprinkled everywhere. That the gifts given in love would be just right. That forgiveness would be present. That our hearts would be tenderized by the magic of the season all year long. That addictions would be broken. That life would be good for everyone. That’s my prayer for Christmas. Let it begin with you and with me. Together, let’s celebrate the gift of Christmas, Christ Jesus. He is the reason for this season.

Father, thank you for journeying life with us. Thank you for family, friends and the moments we share. May this Christmas bring peace, joy, hope and may love abound. May the birth of Jesus be celebrated in the hearts of man, all across this globe, we pray.

Father, may our gift to you, oh God, to be vessels to share the good news of salvation. The best gift ever given, Jesus. He can’t be bought with money, doesn’t like to be put in a box, and doesn’t hide behind the tree. He dwells within the heart of man. Oh, that many will accept salvation and find the true meaning of Christmas, that’s our prayer.

Oh, how we love the Christ of Christmas!  Merry Christmas!

Acts 4:10,12 Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead…There is salvation in no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.
