I want to share this with you today: The Lord has put on my heart now for several years to encourage us all to share the love of Jesus, to be like Jesus, when people look at you and me, I pray they see Jesus. God’s goal for us is becoming like Jesus. Are you? Romans 8:29 teaches us: “Those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son.” God’s ultimate objective for you and I is for us to look like Jesus in character and conduct.
You see, this is the key reason we see so much bad conduct by people, even by people who proclaim to know God. They talk mean, nasty, they are angry, post ungodly stuff on Facebook, it always bothers my spirit when I get sent nasty political videos, or political hate! Why do Christians send that junk? If you think you are going to win people to Jesus sending junk like that, your acting like a fool, use cuss words, dirty jokes, dishonest, drink too much booze, smoke pot, lie, look at pornography….say anything to get what you want…. attack people that do not agree with you, take part in gossip, break your promises, spend money on ungodly things, make raciest comments……Who do you look like? Do you see Jesus in yourself? What do you see when you look in the mirror? We all need to look in the mirror. Do we reflect Jesus? If everyone that proclaimed to be a Christian, was a Christian, we would not see so much chaos in people. I care so very much about you and the condition of your heart, soul and mind. I love you and yours.more than you will ever know. I pray over all my friends everyday as I scan Facebook. God bless you and yours forever and ever! It is one thing to say you are a Christian, but to you behave as so? Maybe you are, in your own mind. It is so very awesome to have such a close personal relationship with Jesus…it is where you do not say or do anything without knowing it is what God wants you to say or do. Ever since I got that, I do less and less stupid things.
Too many people do not hold themselves accountable to God and His Word. They fashion God to be a God they want and do the same with His Word, they fashion their own Bible to fit their lifestyle.
What do you treasure the most?
I will never understand Christians who think hate, will win souls for Jesus. Those of you that do, are showing an unbelieving world what it wants to see in Christians.
Hate shows how foolish and immature you are.
