Here is how Mr. Dooley’s famous journalism quote is usually remembered:

“The job of the newspaper is to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.”

I PREACH AND REPORT THIS WAY WITH THE LOVE OF JESUS! BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT YOU! I LOVE YOU!

I really believe many have made a business out of God in America! There will be hell to pay for that. Money is a huge deal with not all but way too many Churches and Christian businesses. We do not know what persecution is. Church is attended by just 21% of America on Sundays, should not that tell us much about the state of the Church in America? (from Dr. Jim Denison). We are losing here in America. Read the posts below, I pray it preaches to you. We do not make money here at FGGAM, we are but a simple ministry operating out of our home office and Jesus car and with our computer and recording equipment for radio. We are reaching the world right here from our office. The Church in America needs to be REVIVED! Too much money and politics is involved with God here in America. This is why, in my opinion, why many people do not go to Church in America anymore! Jesus is the answer not politics! Look what we have created folks, a very angry, dangerous and messed up Country! The WWII generation, would not recognize this America!

PS: Where does all the money go? You cannot buy your way into Heaven.

Christian Headlines Reports:

Perhaps not so surprising for some and shocking to others, a new study has found the majority of global Evangelicals are not located in North America or Europe.

Save the Persecuted Christians
Joins Other Advocacy Organizations to Send President Trump Letters Concerning Persecuted Believers in India

Letters Delivered Today, as Trump Prepares for Trip to India Next Week

WASHINGTON—Save the Persecuted Christianswhich advocates on behalf of hundreds of millions of Christians facing heavy persecution worldwide, sent a letter to President Donald Trump this morning, outlining the many ways the nation of India is mistreating Christians.

“Save the Persecuted Christians is privileged to help facilitate a multi-faceted NGO and faith leaders effort to inform the president and his administration on anti-Christian violence and discrimination in India,” said STPC Executive Director Dede Laugesen. “Through our united effort, we believe we can have greater impact and influence even as we, each in our own way, continue the important work to which we have been called.”

Trump is scheduled to travel to India Monday and Tuesday.

“We write to you in connection with your impending trip to India, a nation in which Christians are being subjected to a rising tide of violence and discrimination,” a letter from STPC President and CEO Frank Gaffney stated. “During the premiership of Narendra Modi, his country has moved inexorably up the Open Doors World Watch List of the 50 countries in which it is most dangerous to be a Christian. Believers are routinely subjected to mob violence, lynchings, church closings, discrimination. And those responsible usually go unpunished. As a result, India is ranked today as the 10th worst nation in the world to be a Christian. To cite but one example, India continues to detain and mistreat U.S. Pastor Bryan Nerren, a native of Tennessee. Thank you for expressing your concern for him. We pray that you will bring him home on Air Force One.

“Save the Persecuted Christians urges you to take two other actions, one symbolic, the other practical: First, we request that you accept an invitation we understand you have received to meet during your trip with Indian Christian clerics. By so doing, you will help protect those courageous faith leaders long after you leave their country. Secondly, we respectfully ask that you impress an important point upon Prime Minister Modi—it will be impossible to enjoy the necessary and enduring public support in America that you both seek if Christians continue to be subjected to intense, often violent and unindicted, persecution in India.”

Gaffney’s letter was accompanied by several other documents:

  • second letter from members of the International Religious Freedom Roundtable, which highlighted the plight of Pastor Nerren, mob violence and the incidence of states in India enforcing anti-conversion legislation. This letter was signed by more than 20 organizations, such as Council on Minority Rights in India, Family Research Council, Jubilee Campaign, Open Doors USA, Persecution Relief, the Institute on Religion and Democracy, Concerned Methodists, Save the Persecuted Christians and the William Wilberforce Center, along with many individuals.
  • An STPC-compiled fact sheet on India, which details Hindu nationalism, how Christians are suffering, and examples of and headlines about persecution.
  • A “Commentary on Religious Persecution In India,” by Don Shenk, director of the Gospel Tide Broadcasting Association, and an STPC Coalition partner, which has worked in India for 40 years. In the document, Shenk noted:

“It is a well-known and accepted fact that the overwhelming majority of people in India identify as Hindu. However, throughout most of India’s history since independence the country has demonstrated great tolerance of other religions and today officially presents itself as a secular country that allows religious freedom.

“Unfortunately, under the current administration, the government of India has been increasingly expressing the intent of transiting the country into a Hindu nation. It may be debated whether this is motivated by Hinduism or Hindutva; whether the current BJP dominated government is driven by a desire to preserve cultural identity or by religious zeal, but it cannot be denied that this movement is contributing to an intensification in persecution of those who identify themselves with any other religion beside Hinduism and related animistic tribal belief systems.”

The mission of Save the Persecuted Christians is to save lives and save souls by disseminating actionable information about the magnitude of the persecution taking place globally and by mobilizing concerned Americans for the purpose of disincentivizing further attacks on those who follow Jesus.

With so much of the world’s Christian population being imprisoned and/or harassed for their beliefs, such as believers in India, the need has never been greater for the sort of grassroots campaign STPC’s SaveUs Movement is working to foster. Its efforts are modeled after a miraculously successful one that helped free another population suffering from heavy persecution—Soviet Jews—by penalizing those in the Kremlin responsible for such repression. Through this movement, Save the Persecuted Christians endeavors to provide American policymakers with the popular support they need to effect real change worldwide and alleviate systemically the suffering being experienced by so many of those following Christ.

Post From Jan of 2020:

Save the Persecuted Christians: New Rules for Religious Groups Begin This Weekend in China

‘Harsh’ Rules That Go into Effect Feb. 1 Will Require ‘All Religious Personnel to Support and Implement Total Submission to CCP’

WASHINGTON—A new set of “harsh” rules announced in late 2019 in China will go into effect on Feb. 1, and advocates like Save the Persecuted Christians (STPC) say the measures will even further limit and endanger Chinese Christians and people of other faiths.

The rules will require “all religious personnel to support and implement total submission to the Chinese Communist Party,” reports The Christian Post. They complete the “Regulations on religious affairs” revised two years ago and implemented on Feb. 1, 2018. Six chapters and 41 articles make up the new measures and deal with “the organization, functions, offices, supervision, projects and economic administration of communities and groups at both a national and local level.”

“Christians in China are already under extreme persecution,” said Dede Laugesen, STPC executive director. “While very little religious freedom was afforded in China, now every aspect of life for religious groups or communities, including how they gather and operate, will be under the thumb of the government. To add insult to injury, religious leaders will even be required to support and implement submission to the CCP.”

Added Dr. Bob Fu, leader of ChinaAid, a partner of Save the Persecuted Christians, “The new rule codifies the CCP’s ideological and leadership supremacy over all religious affairs in China. From now on, the Chinese Communist Party becomes the head of church, temples, mosques and other religious institutions.
The CCP will dominate every sphere of religion, from religious doctrines, leadership selection, financial management and foreign exchanges. There will be little autonomy and independence left for any religious organizations in China. No independent religious institutions such as house churches will be legally allowed or tolerated for existence unless it’s coerced to join the CCP’s established ‘patriotic religious organizations.’”

Persecution watchdogs warn that the latest measures will be used by the Communist government as a “legal tool to further tighten space for religious groups,” as International Christians Concern told The Christian Post. A Chinese Catholic priest also told Asia News the new provisions are another example of the Chinese Communist Party’s continued crackdown on religion, stating, “In practice, your religion no longer matters, if you are Buddhist, or Taoist, or Muslim or Christian: the only religion allowed is faith in the Chinese Communist Party.”

China has put in place, and is exporting to other countries of persecution, advanced population surveillance techniques. The country has also received criticism for enacting a social score system that further encroaches on the right of Chinese to worship freely.

The mission of Save the Persecuted Christians is to save lives and save souls by disseminating actionable information about the magnitude of the persecution taking place globally and by mobilizing concerned Americans for the purpose of disincentivizing further attacks on those who follow Jesus.

One way is through STPC’s “The People of the Cross” exhibit, which features images, facts and quotes about the persecution of Christians in multiple countries. The banner highlighting China reports that Christians in China are tracked and powerless to stop the destruction of their churches. The banner quotes Gordon G. Chang, commentator, essayist and author of “The Coming Collapse of China.”

“The Communist Party’s totalitarian ‘social credit’ system—made possible by artificial intelligence, camera surveillance, data mining and other tools—will also be used to repress Christians and others outside China,” Chang says.

The banner continues: “The Communist Party represses its citizens, imprisons human rights lawyers and pastors, demolishes churches, and has engaged in large-scale forced abortions and organ harvesting. China forbids religious education, collects DNA and biometric data from religious believers, and tortures and kills prisoners of conscience, including many Christians.”

Additional banners in “The People of the Cross” exhibit feature countries such as Turkey, North Korea, Nigeria and India. A majority of the countries highlighted in the banners are high on Open Doors’ 2020 World Watch List, on which China moved up four spots to No. 23.

With so much of the world’s Christian population being imprisoned and/or harassed for their beliefs, such as Christians in China, the need has never been greater for the sort of grassroots campaign STPC’s SaveUs Movement is working to foster.
