To the Courts we go…… I suspect this will end up in the Supreme Court. Several Counties and Sheriffs strongly oppose the Red Flag Gun law. Some Sheriffs say they may not enforce it, citing concerns over constitutional due process issues.

Press Release From the NM House Republicans: The progressives in Santa Fe have taken it upon themselves to attack our constitutional rights. Today (Tuesday) Governor Lujan Grisham signed the red-flag gun grab into law. The people of New Mexico need to be aware that their elected representatives have made it clear that special interests are more important than the rights of our citizens. The picture is from Catron County!

I love to do the work that God has assigned me…….I am up so very early in the morning, 3am today, me and Daisy start working! Sharon gets up at 4am to get ready to go to work. We are a hard working family, I’m not going to be bashful about that! As I post news and inspiration from a Biblical Worldview I scan the world for news. I found this great article in the U.S. Today. I can tell you this, that many of my friends in Catron County, where I serve at the First Baptist Church in Reserve, do not feel part of New Mexico, they are tired of the ungodly policies coming out of the State Capital. So many in New Mexico don’t even know Catron County exists! When is the last time a Governor has been to Catron County? Living in Albuquerque is hard because of the horrific crime. If we could, we would move out now, we will look at that when Sharon retires in a few years. The Albuquerque/Santa Fe area is very liberal. We would live in Reserve if we could. We will see what the Lord does. The Red Flag Gun law just signed by the Governor really speaks to this situation of rural New Mexico against Albuquerque/Santa Fe. High taxes and state and federal regulations are another point of contention. So many ranchers/farmers feel forgotten.

My life verse: “But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” -Acts 20:24

I have to add that my Dear Sister in Christ, Nita Killebrew, widow of Harmon, told me that in her area of rural Idaho they are fighting the liberal influence of taxes and regulations.

New Mexico Worst State to Raise a Family

The moral compass of America is broken at this time…can it be fixed?

Which way will New Mexico go? Where will America go in the next election? Division is growing in America.

Who is going to UNITE AMERICA??? JESUS is the only answer!!!! Not politics, not politicians, JESUS! People giving their lives to Jesus and serving Jesus, not man. Living by the Ten Commandments, not the commands of man. JESUS! JESUS!

END HATE IN AMERICA! FIND JESUS! HE IS WAITING FOR YOU!

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another:
just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

By this all people will know that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another.
John 13:34-35

Across the country, rural communities want to secede from their states. Here’s why.
Americans outside of urban centers feel as though they have no voice. They want to reclaim their agency.

I love this from Dr. Jim Denison:

Scientists may develop a vaccine for the coronavirus, but we will all die of something (unless Jesus returns first), then stand before God in judgment (Hebrews 9:27). Economists may develop ways of responding to a health pandemic, but this world, no matter how prosperous it becomes, “is passing away along with its desires” (1 John 2:17). We may find ways to reduce stress at work, but the old saying is still true: “No God, no peace. Know God, know peace.”

The foundational solution to victimization in society is spiritual regeneration that leads us to view all people as our brothers and sisters in Christ (cf. Galatians 3:28). Jesus’ warning is also his invitation: “Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it” (Matthew 10:39).

In this context, Craig Denison writes: “God is an endless ocean of love, help, healing, and power. The Holy Spirit who dwells within you longs to empower you with everything you need to truly live in the fullness of life available to you. If you will choose to lay down your life in surrender to God’s plans, purposes, truth, and perfect will, you will experience a life unlike anything you’ve known.”

As a result, he notes: “You and I are only truly living to the degree that we’ve surrendered our lives to Jesus.”

Are you “truly living” today?
