Hello Everyone,
Below is a card that Planned Parenthood has designed and is encouraging their followers to send the tear away portion to Democrat Representative Joseph L. Sanchez who is running for Congress in CD3. Representative Sanchez is one of the Democrats who stood with us on HB 51, so now we need to let him know he is not alone.
Let me dispel the lies in this card. They want to keep abortion up to the day of delivery the status quo. This is afforded them with Roe v Wade. Women aren’t having to beg to get abortions.
Last year the Governor requested that New Mexicans call and let her know what their position was on abortion. In a 2 week period her office received more than 25,000 calls and OVER 98% of the callers were opposed to abortion. How do I know? I made the IPRA (Inspection of Public Records Act) request. They had to provide it and I have those result. Where they get 80% supporting abortion, when OVER 98% of New Mexicans said NO to abortion is a mystery. Then the Governor took the opportunity to have her photo taken with her pro-abortion friends who had produced 10,000 signatures in favor of abortion. The following week we presented her 22,000 signatures in opposition at a a ratio of 2-1.
Their form says “I’m angry that you ignored 80% of New Mexicans.” I’m angry that they lie to the public and expect us to swallow it. Let’s do something about it.
Here is what I’m asking you to do. Representative Sanchez will be receiving a lot of these Planned Parenthood cards. Let’s send him thank you notes for standing for life and let’s make certain he gets more from us than from them. We also need to call him to thank him. He is really taking a lot of heat from the pro-abortion groups. Planned Parenthood is spending a lot of money to defeat him. He may not be your representative, yet he is one who stood with us when we needed him. When they come against one of us, they come against all of us.
