It’s A New Day…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Many churches will stream on-line today as we are practicing social distancing as requested. Somehow, I sense God is speaking to us all at this time. I think about my interview from years ago with singer, songwriter Elizabeth Rhyno about the song she penned Undefiled Worship. I see a way to worship outside those invisible walls that keep us here, were some of the words I remember from her interview this morning. It was all about helping others outside the four walls of the church. So here we are, a new day, a new way to worship. I wish I could play you the song this morning, but I just can’t find it.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for making changes to our lives, our churches and adjust anything and everything to the way you would like it to be. All the glory goes to you and we are humbled that you choose to use us. During this dark time in our world, may we surrender it all to you and pray you would breathe life back into it once again.
Father, may the church truly be a hospital for hurting people. May the healing waters of Jesus Christ flow from church to church as the river of God flows. When the doors open again may they have new vision, double vision to embrace the harvest.
Father, speak to us today individually and corporately. Show us assignments bigger than ourselves. Thank you for taking the church outside the four walls. It truly is a way to worship you. It’s a new day! Amen
