With April being Stress Awareness Month and the coronavirus becoming America’s biggest stressor in 2020, the personal-finance website WalletHub today released its report on 2020’s Most & Least Stressed States as well as accompanying videos.
To determine the states with the highest stress levels, WalletHub compared the 50 states across 41 key metrics. The data set ranges from average hours worked per week to personal bankruptcy rate to share of adults getting adequate sleep.
Stress Levels in New Mexico (1=Most Stressed, 25=Avg.):
- 9th – % of Adults in Fair/Poor Health
- 9th – Median Credit Score
- 19th – Housing Affordability
- 2nd – % of Population Living Below Poverty Line
- 3rd – Divorce Rate
- 1st – Crime Rate per Capita

March 27, 2020 Hello Everyone,Earlier this week I let you know that in spite of the health crisis due to COVID 19 our Governor has not shut down the elective procedures at the abortion facilities. I wrote her office and to date I have only received a form response.Once again our three organization New Mexico Family Policy Alliance, New Mexico Alliance for Life and Right to Life have joined forces and have sent a joint letter. It has been sent to both the Governor and Cabinet Secretary, New Mexico Department of Health, Kathy Kunkel. To read the letter sent Click here.Several states including Texas, Ohio, and Louisiana have already closed abortion clinics through this crisis to free up much needed medical resources. The more radical left leaning states which unfortunately include New Mexico are allowing abortion clinics to remain open for business. Our Governor is allowing this to take place citing family planning as the excuse. I guess any excuse will do.Once again we need to take action.
