What Kind Of Man Is This?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I was thinking this morning of how the wind and the waves obeyed Jesus In Matthew 8:23-27. When he spoke things changed. Is it still the same today? Of course it is! God’s Word tells us in Matthew 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Let’s read those scriptures together and ask Jesus to speak to our situations today. He will, as he is no respecter of persons. He is the same Jesus that was in the boat with the disciples. He is in my boat and he is in your boat if you allow him to be and believe.
Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”
He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for Jesus. We thank you that he is with us in whatever situation or whatever storm we are in. There is no sickness, no disease, no circumstance, no situation that he can’t handle. He created the heavens and the earth and he is moving across this land.
Father, refresh us today. Show us great and mighty things. Father, you tell us to speak to every mountain that rises up in our lives. (Mark 11:22-24) And Jesus answered saying to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.
Father, thank you for the blessings of God on our lives. Thank you that you are working all things together for our good. (Romans 8:28). Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Jesus, he is the kind of man that can calm your storm today. Tell him what you have need of. Believe and stay in faith.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6
