Faith, Hope and Encouraging Word By Jeanne Theriault

Healing Waters

Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds declares the Lord.

God’s unconditional love heals and restores us to wholeness. God’s healing love helps us see ourselves through His eyes. We are loved and forgiven by Him. He also requires to love and to forgives others.

Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins your Father will not forgive your sins.

Colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you .

One might ask, is this easy? No, but it is a choice that one must make in order to be free from  pass hurts. When you hold on to hurts, it will stop you from moving into your future. It will always haunt you always remembering the pain and hurts and it will affect your well being.

Pain of past hurts creates a form of bondage in our lives , what we need to do is to be set free and allow God to heal. Often times hurts reside in our memory and it effects the choices we make.  We can’t allow ourselves to stay in the prison of our past. When dealing with past hurts it will  make you feel resentful and  angry. Are you sensitive about events in your past?  Feeling of hopelessness? Hard to forgive and love?

Then you have unresolved inner wounds. Jeremiah 30:17  But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds declares the Lord.

When you allow God to heal, then you will see the ability to love unconditionally.

1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love, whoever lives in love, lives in God and God in him.

Love always believes in the best of people.

1 John 2:5 But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in Him.

Luke 6:27 But I tell you who hear me love your enemies, do good to those who hate you 28 Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you do to others as you would have them do to you.

Often times we might even blame others for our troubles, don’t allow the enemy  to play with your mind. If you know that God loves you , forgives and accepts you  then you are preparing yourself to receive God’s healing for your soul.

Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.

Remember it is not what was done to us, but it is our reaction to what was done to us. Do not hold on to your hurts, allow the Lord to heal. Holding on to pain and hurts will only prevent you from  receiving your healing. We are loved by God, not because of what we’ve done, but because of who we are. God’s will for us is to be healed.  We need to extend forgiveness for those who have hurt us.

Unforgiveness can block you from receiving your healing.

Hebrews 12:15 See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions , he was crushed for our iniquities the punishment that brought us peace was upon him and by his wounds we are healed.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your love and healing power,  we walk in forgiveness and receive your love, mercy and grace and  your healing. Fill us with your unconditional love setting us free from our pass  and walk in the fullness of your love in Jesus name , Amen
