Glance Back, Push Ahead…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Life is a journey with many turns, twists, ups and downs. We must keep looking ahead to the great plan God has for us.
Sometimes things from the past need to be dealt with. Glance back but push ahead. Forgiveness is the key. Sometimes we feel people don’t deserve to be forgiven, but who are we to decide who deserves forgiveness? We are not God. I have come to realize that there are two sides to every story and God knows the full truth. He sees the secret hidden things. Nothing escapes his watchful eye, nor his listening ear.
If we want God’s blessing on our lives, we need to be forgiving people. He will repay us, that’s what his Word tells us. Are you ready for repayment? If you have been done wrong, with a capital W, let Jesus pay you back. He is ready and willing.
When I saw the picture of this mini vehicle, I liked it, because it had no rear view mirrors. Let’s only glance back, forgive and push straight ahead. Amen? Amen.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for the grace to forgive. Our lives are in your hands. You are the God of truth.
Father, thank you that you are all knowing, all seeing, omnipotent, omnipresent and nothing escapes your watchful eye or listening ear.
Father, thank you for the grace to forgive as we deal with the many life issues. You tell us in Romans 12:17-21 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: It is mine to avenge; I will repay, says the Lord.
Father, you tell us to forgive other people when they sin against us, and you, our Heavenly Father will forgive us, our sins. (Matthew 6:14)
Father, thank you for the grace to forgive and the humility to receive the blessing of your repayment. Amen.
