God, You Promised…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I will post a cancellation this morning of an evening planned with a friend due to the coronavirus outbreak in our State. Annie girl, as I like to call her was planning an event, sharing about her trips to Africa at a local church. In addition, she was going to sing the song that won her the title Aroostook Idol here in Maine.
Annie and I served folks together with a team from the Dream Center in Los Angeles, California several years ago. There are some things you never forget and this was something that will stay etched in my mind forever. We served people, prayed with people, laughed with folks and cried with them on the streets of this city. I can still hear her making a noise to get my attention as I was inviting some folks to church. The bus will pick you up on Thursday evening, I told them as Annie cleared her throat very loudly. I was so hoping they would agree to come. She later told me they were gang members. I guess what I didn’t know didn’t hurt me. I remember saying, oh well, good candidates for church.
I love to pray with the people, because I know God answers prayer. I saw so many prayers answered during the time we served there. No matter what gets cancelled in your day beautiful people, never cancel prayer time with your Heavenly Father. Your time with him is essential. You can talk with him about anything (pray). You can do this all by yourself. When I wanted a prayer of agreement and it was just me, I would ask the Holy Spirit to come into agreement with me. Never cancel your prayer time with Jesus. When everything else is cancelled, you still have a direct line to the Creator of the Universe.
Let’s Pray:

Father, you tell us to call on you and you will answer us and show us great and mighty things. (Jeremiah 33:3)
Father, we pray the Lord’s prayer together all across this globe.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come,
thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. God promised he would answer and he will.
