Have You Lost Some Things?
Good morning beautiful people, good evening actually. Today, let’s thank God that we will recover all. We have a real enemy that steals and destroys, but God came to give us life and life more abundantly. (John 10:10) God’s Word tells us that we will recover all. I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten– the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm — my great army that I sent among you. (Joel 2:25)
I have lost some things in my journey of life and I have often wondered how God would repay me. I know him to be faithful. His repayment plan is different than how we think it to be, but I can say wholeheartedly, God is faithful. He is faithful to his promise to his people.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that the joy of the Lord is our strength. (Nehemiah 8:9) As we journey life we all go through tough things. Only you can repay us for the things we lost. Today, we just want to thank you ahead of time for fulfilling your Word to us. You tell us weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5) Thank you for returning our joy.
Father, thank you that our lives are in your hands. Lead us today and every day by the power of your Holy Spirit. May the joy we carry be contagious and spread to others around us. Amen
