What Will You Do With Your Palm Branch?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. As we prepare to celebrate Easter, if you heard about Jesus, but have never experienced a personal relationship with your creator, then this is your day, this is your time, your season, your hour.
Maybe you grew up in church, maybe you attended every week. Could it be that you were disappointed in what you found there? Did you unwrap the real gift, the love of God that was the most expensive gift ever given for mankind? Could it be that you were disillusioned by all the rules and regulations that no man could keep? Jesus is calling you today, his arms are open wide.
His blood shed on a cross was enough price to pay for you my friend. Taste and see for yourself. No man can give this to you and there is no perfect prayer to pray. Talk to him in your own language, your own style and live in the freedom that he died for. (John 8:36) Amen? Amen. Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for your love. Your agape love is beyond human comprehension. We are mere mortals journeying in a world that tries to push you out.
Father, we come to you today, just as we are. We are imperfect people in need of a loving Savior. Thank you for making all things beautiful in your time. Only a God that created the heavens and the earth can bring good from even the most difficult situations. You are such a treasure. A God of love poured out for all mankind that would believe and receive.
Father, thank you for the most expensive gift we will ever receive. It cost you everything. May our lives reflect the love you have shown us. May mercy and grace be received today in the hearts of people all across this globe, we pray. Amen!
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Wave your palm branch today. He is worth it.
P.S. He says you were worth it too!
The next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD!” “Blessed is the king of Israel!” Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, as it is written: “Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion; see, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.” At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him. Now the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to spread the word. Many people, because they had heard that he had performed this sign, went out to meet him. John12:12-18
