A Mother’s Recipe…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I sit quietly this morning in the presence of God waiting for an inspiration to share. I think of my previous writings for Mother’s Day. The Power of a Praying Mother, a Gem Called Mother, as I wait. I remember the gem I found at the cemetery last year on my own parent’s grave, the Graveyard Gem. The fuscia gem the same color as the coat I was wearing on that rather cold, chilly day. I ponder many things this morning. What is the recipe for motherhood, I pray this morning. I guess it goes something like this.
A Mother’s Recipe…
1 cup of faith- filled to the top to overflowing.
1 cup of love- that stirs even the hardest heart.
1 cup of hope – for the very best.
Mix together gently, add prayer daily and season with great anticipation.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for the gift of motherhood. Thank you that you work all things out as we put our trust in you.
Father, you tell us to honor our mother’s and father’s, so that we may live long in the land the Lord our God has given us. (Exodus 20:12)
Father, thank you for watching over all that concern’s us as mothers. We add our faith, our love this morning and gently mix it with hope for your very best for our children.
Father, thank you for fullfilling your promises to us. We pray for every mother this morning that has a wayward child, an addicted child or a broken relationship. We pray your scripture in Jeremiah 31:16 that says this: But now this is what the Lord says: Do not weep any longer, for I will reward you,” says the Lord. Your children will come back to you from the distant land of the enemy. (NLT)
Father, thank you for the greatest recipe for motherhood, prayer. Amen.
Have a blessed Mother’s Day beautiful people. Enjoy life, it’s like a vapor, here today and gone tomorrow.
