God Bless you Sister Connie Keyohara for your Memorial Day message!
Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
John 15:13
Today we celebrate Memorial Day in honor of the men and women who have died while serving our country. They made many sacrifices to preserve our Constitutional freedoms. They died protecting it.
They are the reason we are free to protest, march and live our lives as we choose.
Many have made the ultimate sacrifice and they have served and fought to defend our country and the principles it was founded on. And as stated in the Declaration of Independence; life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
“But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Corinthians 15:57
“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Psalm 118:24
Let us pause for just a moment to give thanks and remember the dedicated men and women who put their lives at risk so that we might continue to enjoy ours.
“I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus.
‘Memorial Day commemorates the men and women who died while in the military service of their country, particularly those who died in battle or as a result of wounds sustained in battle. In other words, the purpose of Memorial Day is to memorialize the veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. We spend time remembering those who lost their lives and could not come home, reflecting on their service and why we have the luxury and freedom that we enjoy today. We might consider how we can support and safeguard their grieving families and loved ones who are left behind.’

Thank you to all who serve and have served our country!
God bless you,
