So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God show’s no partiality.
Acts 10:34
Jesus told us, “As I have loved you, so you must love one another,”
John 13:34
Being racist is contrary to what Christ said in the book of Matthew. We know this Golden Rule, we should have learned it in kindergarten:
“Treat others the way you would have them treat you.”
Racism is demonic and evil and it goes against what God said about loving our neighbor.
We cannot claim to love Christ unless we love our neighbor, and Racism is the opposite of this commandment.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’There is no commandment greater than these.”
Mark 12:30&31
Scripture reminds us that we are created in God’s likeness and image.
Paul addressed this issue; “There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him”
Romans 10:12
But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.
James 2:9
“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.
Revelation 7:9
Hating others is a sin, God hates sin Therefore, there is absolutely no room for this behavior in a Christian life.
If you’re a follower of Christ and you’re racist, you have to check yourself. This is absolutely NOT a characteristic of a follower of Christ.
Pray for our country, pray hard!
