Seeking the face of God

God Bless you Sister Connie Keyohara for your wonderful message to us today! We are so very thankful for your ministry!

I can text or call my Son or Daughter, I do it often and I enjoy it, but one thing that is better than talking on the phone or texting them, is seeing them face-to-face.

You see, I can read there facial expressions when I see them face-to-face. That also allows for a more personal and intimate conversation with them.

In fact, there are times when only a face-to-face conversation will suffice. That’s because only then, can my need be met.

Perhaps we spoke on the phone earlier or maybe haven’t spoken in awhile, so speaking face-to-face is needed for a clearer understanding with them

This is why I believe it’s important to Seek the face of God, we should be seeking His face because this provides us with a true understanding and a deeper connection with our Lord.

We’ll all eventually need an intimate and personal encounter with God. When you’re crying out in desperation. Knowing Him and seeking his face will be crucial.

My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek.

Psalm 27:8

When we focus on the negative things such as fear or worry, our lives start reflecting this, but when we focus on seeking the face of God, we’re now in his image and likeness. We’re looking into his face. We’re  up close and personal.

When we start looking at the face of God, our lives are transformed. We begin to understand Him, we understand what his mood is, so-to-speak.

Just like looking into the face of my children, nothing is hidden I can almost see their thoughts.

And by seeing them and knowing their facial expressions, I could recognize an imposter, and quick!

This is another reason to seek Gods face:

Christ warned that many impostors would come representing themselves as Him. He warned false prophets would appear just before his return.

His disciples had asked him, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” and the Lord replied, “Many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many” Matthew 24:3,

They will come and deceive even the elect, so knowing his face is important.

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near.

Isaiah 55:6
You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

Jeremiah 29:13

My prayer for you today, is that you’d seek God’s face and dwell in His presence.

Many Blessings,

Connie Keyohara
