Sister Connie Keyohara thank you for your heartfelt tribute of Ravi Zacharias
When the Lord calls his children to come home, our soul and spirit, leave our body and comes into the presence of the Lord Almighty.
“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!”
Matthew 25:21
Today we mourn the loss of a very special man, Ravi Zacharias.
One of my favorite Authors of all time.
He was a leading figure among Christian Apologists, and an awesome defender of Christianity he was!
Here are just a few of his quotes:
“Unless I understand the Cross, I cannot understand why my commitment to what is right must be precedence over what I prefer.”
“There is no greater discovery than seeing God as the Author of your destiny.”
“What you applaud you encourage, but be careful what you celebrate.”
“Teaching at best beckons us to morality, but it is not in itself efficacious. Teaching is like a mirror. It can show you if your face is dirty, but it the mirror will not wash your face.”
I can only imaging the celebration that is taking place in heaven today as he was ushered into the presence of the Lord.
“We are confident (of eternal life), I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord”
2 Corinthians 5:8
“I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far”
Philippians 1:23
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful servants.
Psalm 116:15
Thank you Ravi, for the legacy you have left us.
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”
John 11:25
God Bless,
