I want to thank my Dear Friends at ABQ Right to Life for sending me this report, How can New Mexico think we can be fully blessed when we kill His babies? We all will have to answer to God. The picture above is from the First Baptist Church in Glenwood, New Mexico where I preach from time to time. The folks there are ‘salt of the earth’. Love Pastor Dave and all the folks!

That according to the Guttmacher Institute, a pro-choice research institution, there were 4,620 abortions in New Mexico in 2017. Source: https://www.guttmacher.org/fact-sheet/state-facts-about-abortion-new-mexico.

From Dr. Jim Denison: On abortion, I know Christians who claim that science cannot determine when life begins. As a result, they believe that decisions regarding the preborn baby are best left with the mother rather than being “imposed” by the state. (For my response, see my paper on abortion).

People judge Christ by Christians

I am not suggesting that we must endorse all that a person does to love them as Jesus loves us. Or that we must be perfect before we make public our faith.

But I am stating that, just as people judge Islam by Muslims, people judge Christ by Christians. As a result, we must strive to be the people we want others to become. If we will seek God’s help every day (Romans 12:1–2; Ephesians 5:18) in manifesting the “fruit” of his Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23) and emulating his Son (Romans 8:29), he will empower us and use us to draw others to himself.

About a year ago I heard Abby Johnson on Focus on the Family, today I saw this on Jim Daly’s Facebook page. On the program I heard, Abby stated it was the love of the pro-life folks that got her to come to the other side, not the hate. Let us remember that hate always produces more hate, it is like pouring gas on a fire.

Abby Johnson, Annette Lancaster, and Sue Thayer offer a behind-the-scenes look at the abortion industry. They describe their past work for Planned Parenthood where they initially believed they were helping women in need, but later experienced a radical transformation of their perspective, leading them to become the passionate pro-life advocates they are today.
