How Many Confirmations Do You Need?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I have always been the type of person that needed to understand why I did something. I couldn’t just do it, I needed to understand why I did it. Walking with God caused me to ask so many questions. A lot of times I just didn’t understand and I would have to trust him. Sometimes we are like what? this can’t be God. Does that ever happen to you? We desire to journey with God and sometimes he just doesn’t make sense. I find myself asking God, is this you? How about one more confirmation God, one more, oh God how about one more? Do you confirmation him like that?
Recently I shared with a friend about taking groceries to someone that their name just popped in my heart and mind. This was years ago, when I was just learning to walk with God. This seemed like an odd request from him. Take half of your groceries to this woman, and tell her I love her. I told God that a lot of what I had in my cupboards that week was from a trip my sister had taken to Sam’s Club and blessed me. Wouldn’t that be rude I continued to converse, give away what my sister had given me? The impression wouldn’t leave and I finally obeyed. Thank God he is so patient with us. For this dear woman was in need and I was holding onto her blessing.
What is God saying to you today? Are you holding onto someone’s blessing that God has already spoken to you about. Are you on your third day of confirmations? Isn’t it the day to release it? You will soon discover you will be the one blessed.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for journeying life with us. Today, whatever we are holding on we release to you. Everything we are, everything we have, we surrender to you. No confirmations needed God.
Father, thank you for using us today to be a blessing in a world that is desperate to see acts of kindness, generosity, love and unselfishness.
Father, may the light of Christ shine brightly across this globe today as your people light up the world. Amen.
Have a blessed day. Hear his voice today and say yes God I am on my way.
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. (John 10:27)
