Monday Missions…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I was thinking this morning about the radio program I have been a guest on Missions In Your Back Yard with Tom Obey. Every day we can experience a mission. We can ask Jesus to take our lives and make someone elses life a little better. Sometimes the hardest time to do this is when we are struggling or going through a hard time ourselves. That is the time it is the best for us to do it. If we have two slices of bread we can share one with someone that has none. If we see someone in need and turn a blind eye that it the sin of omission.
During a time of prayer I was talking with God about the Holy Spirit. I told him I didn’t want to be divisive and some people don’t like when we talk about the Holy Spirit. I further went on to tell God it makes some people downright nervous. God had no problem telling me it is a sin to know the truth and not to tell it. (James 4:17)
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit, the third person of the trinity. Thank you Holy Spirit for leading us today. Show us things that only can be revealed by the spirit we pray.
Father, show us someone that we can help today. May we share what we have even when we are in need.
Father, teach us all thing by the power of your Holy Spirit, we pray. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. It’s Monday missions. Where will yours be?
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20
