Preparing for Battle

God Bless you Sister Connie Keyohara for this message for such a time as this!

“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

Ephesians 6:13

Especially during these tough times, we should be fully equipped for battle. This means that whether we’re ready or not, the battle is coming.

“Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Ephesians 6:14-17

It is imperative that we, as Christians, have our armor checked and ready for battle.

If you think about soldiers going into battle, if their equipment is not up to par, it could be deadly for them.

If their shield is filled with holes, their helmet doesn’t fit, their feet are shaky, the breastplate is too heavy or too loose, their belt is falling off, and their sword is dull, they will get annihilated.

Every day we face an invisible war in the heavenly realms (not all battle is against flesh and blood.) During these times it is imperative that we are prepared

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the  man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

Read your Bible! That’s the most important thing you can do.

When we are prepared and fully equipped, only then can we defeat the enemy.

Folks, that time is here. More than ever, it’s arrived. Let’s us get ready to tear it up in the heavenly realms and do some damage in the enemy camp.

We shouldn’t go day in and day out, month after month, and for years at a time as though no battle is being fought or is coming.

God prepared us for the battle by warning us that it’s coming.

It’s here!

Though we find ourselves in the middle of a serious spiritual battles, we have a hope in Christ.

Many Blessings,

Connie Keyohara
