Rioters outside the federal courthouse in Portland on Friday night burned Bibles, set fires in the street, and tore protective boarding off buildings. Journalists on the scene report that the rioters were trying to provoke a response from the federal agents inside. |

CHRISTIANS HOLDING ‘LET US WORSHIP’ GATHERINGS IN RESPONSE TO SINGING BAN
Thousands of Christians across California continue to sing and hold worship services across the state after Governor Newsom banned singing in churches at the beginning of July. Recently, more than 5,000 showed up on the beach in San Diego for a “Let Us Worship” event put on by worship leader Sean Feucht, Founder of Hold The Line. Feucht has been traveling to cities across California with local pastors and leaders. Californians are determined to worship freely, Feucht notes, “It’s just such an amazing movement that we’ve seen so much momentum on.” |

Some examples of the ongoing government crackdown include house church raids, confiscation of donation boxes and other valuables, destruction of Bible verses on the walls, and even taking some members to police stations for interrogation. |
