I am just finishing up my sermon for today……God always changes things even to the moment I step into the pulpit……it is to be His message not mine. I have had God tell me to toss away what I have prepared and then He tells me what to preach as I go…….so very true. I want to share with you this quote as I get ready to leave for FBC in Reserve, next week I am at FBC in Glenwood.

Do you know the work God has assigned you? or do you do what you feel like?

There’s some task which the God of all the universe, the great Creator, your redeemer in Jesus Christ has for you to do, and which will remain undone and incomplete until by faith and obedience you step into the will of God.

That quote really PREACHES! AMEN!

It is such an AWESOME BLESSING to know the work God has assigned you to do while you are in on earth! Amen! It is such a SPIRITUAL HIGH!!!! Amen!

This is my life verse:

“But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” -Acts 20:24

It is so very sad when people spend most of their life searching for that right job.

This morning my message at FBC in Reserve at 11am is entitled, “Let us Comfort Each Other”
