God Has a Plan

Thank you so very much for blessing us so much today Sister Connie Keyohara!

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good.”

Romans 8:28

I’ve heard people say that God doesn’t have a plan for their lives because things are usually bad.

Scripture tells us otherwise.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Jeremiah 29:11

I think when someone says that, it’s usually because they’re mad at God or maybe disappointed in his plan.

I remember being a young mom and thinking God had forgotten about me, but nothing could’ve been further from the truth.

When I have fear, doubt or unbelief, that’s when God does his best work.

He meets us in the darkest of valleys and he woos us there.

It’s in the valley, the darkest times that God has shaped me.

He said that he’d never leave us or abandon us. Ever!

Not one thing can separate us from his love.

The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

Psalm 145:18

We may not understand God’s big plan, but we should trust that He has one for us.

Everything in our life happen that way, for His reason not ours.

No matter what giants you may be facing today that are working to intimidate you, defeat you and destroy you, and as much as you may not want to, it’s imperative that you face these giants and slay them.

Don’t fear them. I read the end of the book, God wins.

When You’re afraid, the only thing You can think of is yourself. You don’t think about God, You don’t think about anybody else, You’re just focusing on the trial.

It’s time to let go and trust God, the one who created you for a purpose. Seek his face.

When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid… –

Psalm  56:3

Behind the scene, there is a God who is not shaken, not worried, he’s in control and fighting for you.

You must quit running and face the issue. Face it in faith. Move against it, and take control of the thing you fear most.

God never intended for His children to live with unhealthy and unhelpful fear. That’s why He reminds us over and over in His word to “fear not.”

In fact “fear not” appears in scripture 365 times in some form or another. It’s no coincidence that He gave us one  “ fear not” for every day of the year.

This life is but a vapor, quick and fast. Then comes eternity. Our goal. The race is almost over!

God bless you as you move over and give God the reins.
