UPDATED OCT 1, 2020:
I am sadden by what happened to Albuquerque Police Chief Mike Geier. To me, there is no doubt the Mayor pushed him out the door. Mayor Keller in my mind, treated the chief very poorly. It was not the way to treat a man who has given his life to serving the public, 47 years in law enforcement. I was able to meet the Chief once and have two phone conversations with him. A very wise, soft spoken man, with very high integrity with no political agenda. Shortly after the Chief was appointed by Mayor Keller, we had an incident in our neighborhood, I asked the officers about Chief Geier, they all were excited he was selected. The Mayor blames the Chief for high crime in Albuquerque, that is so unfair! We all share the blame because have allowed Albuquerque to become a very violent city. I have seen Albuquerque deteriorate greatly since I moved here in 1995. It is no longer a safe city to live in. As a whole, the citizens of the City have failed to elect strong, ethical people to stand strong against crime. Every time the City gets a new Mayor, the Chief of Police changes. The Chiefs are not given full authority to clean up the city. With Mayor Berry it was the same way as with Keller. I have very close friends in the Police Department, Officers on the force and retired officers. It is like everything else in America, City government is run for political gain and not the citizens. The Judicial system in New Mexico has been broken for years. SHAME FOR “CATCH AND RELEASE!” I learned this month that the average service time of a Police Chief in America is JUST 3 YEARS! HOW IS A CHIEF GOING TO DEFEAT EVIL IN 3 YEARS WHEN HIS OR HER HANDS ARE TIED AND YOU HAVE THUGS RAISING HELL, KILLING AND RIOTING AND BURNING DOWN AMERICA!!???!!?? AND POLITICANS AND MANY CITIZENS SAYING DEFUND THE POLICE!!!!????!!! I NEVER HEARD MAYOR KELLER STAND STRONG FOR THE CHIEF AND OFFICERS!!!!!!! America is going through hell right now because it has made everything political and not Godly. Politics has become a religion in America. America has elected many fools into office, they are not Biblically sound. Voters did not and do not vet the candidates with God’s Word any longer, because many Americans no longer have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

My hope in America is in God and leaders like South Dakota Governor Kristie Noem. The people’s Governor. The state adores her! She has united that state so very much! We need leaders that unite, not divide! We need Christian leaders like Governor Noem. I urge you to study her life. Governor Noem grew up on a ranch in South Dakota, she had to take over when her Dad died, she learned very much about life and business. Purity of soul and mind comes to my mind when I think of her.

I asked one of my heroes former U.S. Marshal Gorden Eden who also served at one time as Police Chief in Albuquerque about the current situation in America concerning law enforcement:
I receive about 4-5 announcements weekly concerning new police Chief vacancies. It’s a national effort to destroy law enforcement and when they have accomplished their mission our criminal justice system is next. It’s a direct attack on legitimate authority. Our national and local election results will determine the course of America.
