My heart was broken when I saw a person or two write on my Facebook that we cannot offend God! That is a Spiritual breakdown! The watering down of God’s Word! I posted how awful the Presidential debate was, it offended God. The words and accusations and the way it was conducted was offensive to God and all people. I am not affiliated with any political party, as they both are very sinful in many ways of operation. I am a registered Independent. I vet the candidates with God’s Word and look at who their Pastor is. Too many do not attend Church on both sides. I also look how they conduct their lives, how they treat their spouse, children and all people. I vote for the individual, not the party. Politics is a dirty business. As a news reporter and Pastor I have been lied to by too many politicians, both Democrats and Republicans. As a Christian Radio Manager we had more than a few Pastors, Churches, Ministries and Christian Business people not pay their bills over the years. I told the folks in Church last week that I am praying about writing a book “The Good, The Bad and Ugly of Christian Radio.” We will see what the Lord does. I always look for the fruit in people, Churches and ministries. Are they producing fruit for God or for themselves? Many have such big EGO’S! EGO stands for ‘Edging God Out.’ I am not popular in the circle of politicians and many Pastors because of my stances. I do not intend to be popular with man. I am called by God to preach and report His truth. As my Daddy told me years ago, “Son, sometimes the truth is going to hurt.” Some cannot stand the heat, the truth. We are mess as a country because of politics!!! Both political parties got us to this point. Many Americans have made politics their God, their religion. SHAME!
Do people see Jesus in you?
I stand with God, I probably will lose some friends again today…….I am far from perfect, I seek the Lord everyday, I pray constantly that I do not say or write anything stupid.

The Bible clearly tells us that all sin is an offense to God (Romans 8:8). But so often, Christians act as if some of the sins they commit are somehow either more acceptable to God today or that He understands our human weakness and lets them slide, so to speak. But that is far from the truth of God’s Word. God detests all sin.
