Psalm 33:22
Times are tough folks. Lost jobs, marriages, natural disasters, disease, and financial strains.
With an uncertain future, it’s easy to have little faith and little to no hope for the future.
You are not the only one that has felt that there is no hope. People feel that every single day.
Put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
Psalm 130:7
As Christians, we know that God’s love is unfailing and He will deliver us in the days of calamity.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6
When you have no hope, it’s easy to feel sick, discouraged, hopeless, anxious and depressed.
I recently noticed that some people that watch too much television, read too many newspapers, and constantly listen to bad news, are now starting to reap the consequences of that foolishness…Anger
Don’t get me wrong, we should be keeping up on current events and happenings. Especially for the brethren, who look for the signs and wonders, because that brings us closer to God‘s glorious return.
It’s just that too much television or Social media can be detrimental.
Sometimes we wish that God would speak to us, but he does, through his word. We have to be reading our Bible and seeking the face of God, praying and repenting of our sins.
Then, and only then, God hears us.
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14
You see, our hope is found in Jesus Christ, and he alone crucified!
So, when you do hear the bad news, and you do here of the terrible things of this world that bring us down, when you do hear of the lies the lawless one is telling us in these last days.
When you see natural disasters taking place and people celebrating, clapping and cheering for sin, look up, for our redemption is near.
My prayer for you today, is that you would find hope in the Lord.
Many blessings,
