The Harvest That Never Ends…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. The potato harvest is coming to an end for this year here in Aroostook County, Maine. Harvest equipment will soon be put away and they will begin to plant again sometime in May, for next years crop.
Isn’t it interesting how we can compare our lives, our ministries, etc. to the harvest? Some plant a seed, some water it and it is God who softens the soil of peoples hearts and they accept him. It is always God that brings the increase, no man receives the glory.
I have a prayer barrel that people put their prayers in and I have several of my own in that beautiful wooden potato barrel. Today, let’s lift up the prayers to God and thank him for the answers, for the harvest. The harvest that never ends.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for hearing our many prayers and answering them. There is no prayer you don’t hear. God of the harvest we lift up the many prayers in the potato barrel this morning and pray in agreement for your perfect will. May many come to know you and your people see the faithfulness of our God.
Father, we thank you for the blessing on our lives. We thank you that blessing goes for many generations.
Father we pray 1 Chronicles 4:10 today, the prayer of Jabez. Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou would keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. Thank you for granting our requests, we receive. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Enjoy the beautiful day God has given you. (Psalm 118:24) Thank him for the harvest, the harvest of blessings.
