Who Chose Who?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Remember when we were children in school and we wanted to be chosen to speak. The teacher asked a question and we thought we may have the answer, we raised our hand right? There are so many questions who is to be the next president of The United States, the Supreme Court Justice, and so many questions about world issues.
My eyes were drawn this morning to John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
Today let’s ask God to appoint the person he chose for the leadership of our countries, supreme court, state and federal government. It’s God’s choice, he puts people in position and he takes them out. Let’s submit to God, the one true God in which man can be saved. Amen?
Let’s Pray:
Father, we come to you this morning desiring to know your heart. Holy Spirit lead us as we vote. God we submit to your will, your plan for the United States Of America and the nations of the world.
Father, you said to ask of you, and you would make the nations our inheritance, the ends of the earth our possession. (Psalm 2:8) Father, we ask for the nations of the world today.
Father, your Word tells us that before the foundations of the earth, you had a plan. Ephesians 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, to the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory.
Father, the earth is your footstool (Acts 7:49). Order our footsteps according to your plan. Guide us in all truth. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Step right up, step right up and cast your vote by the power of the Holy Spirit.
