Christmas Dreams…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. As I sit to write this morning, I glance at my gift shopping and smile. My grandsons Pringle can that he carries his cash in will now be replaced with a bank that looks like a safe. He will have the combination and the key. My granddaughter’s Barbie car, (convertible at that) is this grandmothers dream. Her dolls will enjoy a cool ride. The dream pillow for another grandchild, I pray inspires them to dream big and the list continues on.
Children are such a blessing from God. Psalm 127:3 Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.
I remember my life as a child. I love to tell my Christmas radio story. I have a sister that was born intellectually disabled. She could not speak. She attended a day program here in my city for many years. She was a great sister, but challenging at times. Her nickname was Hooky, that’s because if you didn’t understand what she was trying to say, you just might get a right or left hook.
I remember one Christmas as a young girl, my uncle bought me a radio. It was white, round and unusual. I loved that radio. Can you guess who wanted it? Yes, you guessed it. Of course, I gave it to her. Years ago, as I remembered the incident, I talked to God about it. He said, didn’t I give it back to you? You are on the radio. I host a radio program here on Saturday’s at noon (EST, streaming) after the world news in Caribou, Maine (WFST) called Destiny Moments. He did give it back to me, in a greater way.
Today, no matter what is going on in your life, draw close to Jesus. There is nothing that escapes his watchful eye. He loves you beyond what you can think or imagine, enough to die for. Dream big beautiful people, dream big.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that the greatest gift we will ever receive is when we receive Jesus Christ in our hearts and lives. Father, we don’t need to be like anyone else, just be us, because we were all created in the image of our God. (Genesis 1:27) You even know the number of hairs on our head.
Father, may your presence fill the homes of your people all across this globe. May love abound from home to home as your presence is the greatest gift ever given to mankind. Thank you for being the light of the world. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Merry Christmas! Fill your life with Destiny Moments.
