From Darkness To Light…. Angel’s Prayer Of The Day

From Darkness To Light….

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. It’s a beautiful, but a bit chilly morning here at zero degrees in Northern Maine. The snow glistens back at me as I glance out my window this morning. Those white snow flakes that have now accumulated on the ground will now make Christmas a traditional white Christmas.

I am reminded this morning that our lives without Christ was in darkness, but with Christ we are new creations in him. He paid the ultimate sacrifice.

2 Corinthians 5:14-21 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for another day to enjoy. As we prepare for Christmas may we reflect on the goodness of our God. Love, peace, patience, joy, kindness, gentleness, self control, faithfulness, and long suffering be our attributes. (Galatians 5:22)

Father, thank you for reconciling the world to yourself. Everyone who believes on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved. How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news” (Romans 10:13-14) Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Bring the good news to someone today. Share your faith.
