My friend Claudia broke her neck in a diving accident; the same way I did. Like me, she became utterly depressed. However, Claudia had no idea how much her friends were praying. Through prayer, God gripped her heart and Claudia changed. She got out of bed, sat up in a wheelchair, and moved forward into life. What caused such a dramatic change? Claudia met people whose suffering was far, far worse than hers; and the Holy Spirit stirred her heart for their needs. Now, she has an amazing outreach among hundreds of disabled people and churches. And here’s what’s most amazing: Claudia lives in an impoverished part of El Salvador.
