Believe In New Beginnings….
Hello beautiful people. Good morning to all you folks created in the image of God. That would be all of us, right? A new year has begun and although I didn’t ring it in at 12:01 AM a few days ago, I am full of anticipation of what God is going to do in 2021. This whole earth thing was Gods idea. I continually keep my thoughts and prayers focused on his promises.
What does new really mean? What does it look like? I ask myself and God this morning, as I meditate on his Word. Websters dictionary defines it as this: having recently come into existence. Like a newborn baby.
I am so glad to walk with the one that makes all things new. He can bring good out of every situation.
Today, let’s put the past in the past and close the books on 2020. Let’s begin to embrace the new year and what God has for each of us in 2021.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for bringing us through 2020. We embrace a new year journeying life with our creator. We close the book on the past and won’t look back, but will press on towards the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14)
Father, thank you for newness in our lives, just like a new born baby. You make all things new. Amen.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Corinthians 5:17
And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Revelation 21:5
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” 3 John 5-8
Have a great day beautiful people. Believe in new beginnings.
