Day Two Of An Amazing Year…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. As I look out my window this morning, I see the fresh white snow covering the ground. The trees are beautifully decorated with the white powdery fluff from above. We begin day two of a year filled with amazement. I ponder the things in my heart this morning, as I begin to pen out my dreams and desires. I ask God himself to take what is his in my heart and show me what he desires first and foremost. I want to submit to his plan first, as his will is my heart’s desire.
Yesterday, I was blessed beyond measure. My sister came to give me fifty dollars that she felt God told her to bring me for Angel’s Believe Ministries and we prayed together. She has felt to help me each month in ministry, my first monthly partner. Last week she had a pain in her leg and couldn’t walk. I prayed for her and she called back a few hours later and said God healed her. She is now walking on her leg. She told me that she shared her story at the church she attends, last Sunday evening. God healed her, no one else, God, through prayer.
Somehow, I felt it was only the beginning of what God was going to do for her. As we talked, she shared how she would like to have another dog. Her dog of many years had to be laid to rest and the home wasn’t feeling the same. She had made phone calls with several inquiries to no avail. I said to her in my confident voice, well let’s ask God. If he can heal your leg, he knows where your new dog is.
In the book of James chapter four verse two, James tell us we have not because we don’t ask God. We prayed together and then I remembered my neighbor had just gotten a dog a few months ago. I phoned her to inquire where. She gave me the number to the home in the same town as my sister lives. To make a long story short, the woman had a dog that was promised to her sister, but the sister hadn’t picked it up yet. She made the phone call to inquire if she still wanted the ten-week-old puppy and she said to give it to my sister. That was a fast answer to prayer. On her way home, she stopped to pick up her new addition to the family.
God’s Word tells us whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be ours. (Mark 11:24)
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for answering our many prayers. You amaze us day after day, after day. There is nothing we love to do more, than journeying life with a God that knows everything, sees everything and blesses us. May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands. (Psalm 90:17)
Father, thank you for making people’s dreams come true, as they believe in you. May they walk in good health (Psalm 107:20) may they prosper in all things and be in health, just as their soul prospers. (3 John 1:2)
Father, continue to amaze us wth good things as we know every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights. (James 1:17)
