As I sit here in silence waiting to hear his still small voice , thinking Lord when is it going to end. We go through life at times where there is situations that never ends. There are hurts pain wishing it would go away. I know that my Lord is my strength and I know he loves me and forgives me. He will never forsake me. His word says to forgive those who hurt you. Pray for those who persecute you
As hard as that may be, it is what God wants me to do. I am trying to walk it out daily. At times the enemy will accuse you of things that are false loosing your self-worth feeling of hopelessness.
When you forgive others you extend grace it can be one of the hardest things you may face in life. The pain and hurts that others cause you is real. But the pain of living in bitterness and unforgiveness can poison your soul and destroy you .
When you forgive others you are not saying what they did was ok. But you are releasing them to God and letting go of its hold on you. Forgiveness does not forget, but it does set you free from all bitterness and grudges. You have to make that choice.
God stands ready and willing to forgive you. But ask that you extend the same forgiveness to others first.
If you have resentment and bitterness in your heart it’s time to give it over to God. Let him heal you and give you the ability to forgive. Your eternity is dependent on it.
Father please forgive me when I allow anger and bitterness to fill my heart. I choose to forgive in the same way you forgiven me. In Jesus name
Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive men when they sin against you , your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins your Father will not forgive your sins.
Colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love , which binds them all together in perfect unity.
